The information that follows will give you a thorough overview of the many possibilities for parties and events at The Wildcat Inn and Tavern. If, after reading through this information you feel like we might be the right setting for your wedding, reunion, birthday, business meeting, holiday party or special event we invite you to call us to arrange a time to tour our property and discuss the many options we offer. This meeting is the first and most important step in deciding if The Wildcat is the right fit for you and for us.

Special Places
The Wildcat Inn & Tavern is comprised of a 90 seat main dining room divided into 5 distinct spaces, a 90 seat Tavern with roaring fire places, our beautiful outdoor gardens and deck, and 12 inn rooms and suites. Each of these areas can be used exclusively for private parties or events.
The Porch
This former open air porch that now serves guests year round is one of our most popular event spaces. Depending on the table configuration, the porch can accommodate up to 40 people in a single room. In general, the guest minimum for exclusive private seating on The Porch is 25 people. For parties not wishing to meet the guest minimum, The Porch can be utilized by groups smaller than 25 while remaining open to the general public for dining.
The Dining Room
The Main Dining Room consists of The Porch, The Golf Room, The Ski Room, The American Room and The Red Room. The Dining Room can be reserved for private events with up to 90 guests. In general, the guest minimum for exclusive private seating in The Dining Room is 60 people. For parties not wishing to meet the guest minimum The Dining Room may be utilized by groups smaller than 60 while remaining open to the general public for dining. While The Dining Room is comprised of 5 distinct spaces the open air concept and large windows between rooms makes everyone feel like they are a part of the main event.
The Red Room
Located just off the main dining room, this wonderfully cozy, semi-private room, complete with a roaring fire place for winter events, can accommodate up to 14 dining guests at one large table or smaller mixed tables. In general, the guest minimum for exclusive use of The Red Room is 10 people. For parties not wishing to meet the guest minimum, The Red Room may be utilized by groups smaller than 8 while remaining open to the general public for dining. The Red Room is also an ideal location for small cocktail parties, celebratory drinks, meetings, readings, and other intimate events.
The Golf Room
Located in the back of The Main Dining Room, this medium size, semi-private, golf themed room can accommodate up to 22 dining guests at one large table or smaller mixed tables. In general, the guest minimum for exclusive use of The Golf Room is 14 people. For parties not wishing to meet the guest minimum The Golf Room may be utilized by groups smaller than 14 while remaining open to the general public for dining.
The Tavern
The Tavern is a classic New England pub with two roaring fireplaces and a great old bar. The Tavern can seat up to 90 guests at mixed tables. In general, the guest minimum for exclusive use of The Tavern is 50 people. For parties not wishing to meet the guest minimum, The Tavern may be utilized by groups smaller than 50 while remaining open to the general public for dining.
The Gardens and Dining Deck
Located behind the main inn, our beautiful Gardens and Dining Deck can accommodate up to 32 seated guests at mixed tables. In general, the guest minimum for exclusive use of The Garden is 25 people and the Deck is 16. For parties not wishing to meet the guest minimum, The Gardens may be utilized by groups smaller than 25 and the Deck by groups smaller than 16 while remaining open to the general public for dining. Event availability is restricted to the late spring, summer, and early fall and is subject to the whims of the weather. Any event planned for this space must also include an indoor back-up plan in case the often unpredictable New England weather takes a turn for the worse.
The Game Room
Located above The Tavern, this one time game room used by ski-clubbers in the 40’ and 50’s for après ski card and board games is a great casual space for meetings, small parties, discussions, and other informal events. The Game Room can accommodate up to 25 guests at mixed tables and other seating. In general, the guest minimum for exclusive use of The Game Room is 12 people.

Weddings and Other Ceremonies
For guests thinking of holding any kind of ceremony at The Wildcat there are several great locations, inside and out, for exchanging vows. There are also other great locations within walking distance of The Wildcat including, “The Little White Church” and the waterfalls.

Service Options
Every event at The Wildcat Inn and Tavern is customized to meet the needs of our guests. Accordingly, we offer a variety of service options around which each party or event is organized. These options are available for full day events, lunch or afternoon events, and evening events.
Full Service
Many smaller parties and events give guests the opportunity to choose from any of the items offered on our main lunch or dinner menu. This flexible dining plan provides guests with the widest range of choices. Because each dish is prepared as orders are placed, the food service is staggered so our kitchen staff can prepare each dish in a timely fashion. In general, the maximum group size for this option is 20 people.
Custom Plated Dining
For groups larger than 20 people we are pleased to create a distinct custom menu that gives each guest a choice of 3 main entrees, wonderful vegetable and starch side dishes, plus soup, salad and fresh bread. Appetizers are also available with this option. A custom desert option is also included with coffee and tea. Guests are provided with full service plated table seating, bar service, and simultaneous dining.
Custom Buffet Dining
For groups larger than 20 people, Custom Buffet Dining is also available. This option gives each guest a choice of 2 appetizers, 2 soups, salad, and bread service with a variety of dressings, vegetable and starch side dishes and 2 main entrees. A custom desert option is also included with coffee and tea. Guests are provided with full service table seating, bar service, and rolling dining.
Appetizers & H’orsederves
Many smaller events such as receptions or meetings are enhanced with a special choice of appetizers and h’orsedevres during the event. This format also includes full bar service with the option for coffee and tea. This option can be designed with a fixed food station or passed by a dedicated server or servers.
Cakes, Cookies & Sweets
Great sweets and treats are a wonderful way to make any event or party special. This option can include everything from custom cupcakes and cakes to chocolate covered fruits and hot baked cookies with ice cream. This format also includes full bar service with the option for coffee and tea. This option can be designed with a fixed food station or passed by a dedicated server or servers.
Full Day Events
The Wildcat Inn & Tavern is a popular spot for full day meetings and retreats. This service includes morning coffee, tea, juice and pastries, buffet lunch, and afternoon refreshments. Additionally, events of this nature can also be followed with a cocktail hour with light appetizers or even dinner. Dinner service can custom plated or buffet style.

COSTS AND PRICING
Every event at The Wildcat Inn and Tavern is priced based on the service desired, number of guests, time of day, and the time of year. Options for each event can be developed with a menu of choices or based upon a predetermined budget. In general the following costs are applied to each event:
Food & Food Service - 20% Service Gratuity
Bar & Bar Service - 9% NH Meals Tax

As part of our standard event planning services a detailed event quote and outline will be developed, reviewed, and refined for each event. This quote and outline will be provided in writing for approval. Once an event has been booked at The Wildcat Inn & Tavern a deposit will be required to guaranteed the date and time. The amount of the deposit is based on the total projected cost of each event.
