Dear Staff Of The Wildcat Tavern,

"Two weeks ago were the most stressful times of my life. Everything my husband and I had planned for our wedding in Jackson went wrong. From the hotel to the rain, our planning was not smooth. We stayed focused on the ceremony and our new marriage together instead of the events which were falling apart.

When my husband told me he had rescheduled our wedding dinner at your tavern after our original place of dining cancelled due to lack of staff, i was so stressed out I had hives. At that point, as long as we had a place to go I was fine. I had no idea the best was yet to come.

Our wedding ended early and we didn't want our guests to stand out in the rain. You were unbelievably accommodating to out group. We even had our own fabulous waitress (great job!!!). You allowed our two children to "check out" the rooms upstairs, play on your stairs and even sit on all of your lovely furniture. Who else would have done that for us?

Our dinner was perfect!!! I had no idea what was on the menu, yet there were choices for all of our different dietary needs. You even had a children's menu - fabulous! The room was just right for a "light reception". Anyone would be thrilled to have such a beautiful place to end their wedding day.

A few specifics that truly made our dinner wonderful:

Thank you for the little cute bottles of maple syrup - they are on my children's dresser!
Thank you for lighting the candles in the fireplace for a more romantic picture! We'll send you one!
Thank you for asking if we wanted the kids to play or color in the office.
Thank you for providing stamps/paper/crayons for the kids.
Thank you for allowing us to come in almost two hours early!
Thank you for allowing us to take so many pictures!
Thank you for having the place so friendly, clean and beautiful - it is obvious you love your tavern as much as we did!

We will definitely come back for our anniversary dinners! You made the day JUST RIGHT!
The vows weren't bad either :-)
