I know you’re going to find this hard to believe since I work for The Wildcat Inn and Tavern but I don’t get the chance to go to Hoot Night on Tuesdays very often. Then when I do go I always ask myself why I don’t go more often because it’s so much fun.
What makes it so fun? Glad you asked. First there’s the Tavern itself. A lot of places might call themselves taverns but very few actually have the look and feel of an authentic tavern. From the flooring to the fireplace to the old fashioned wooden sled used for the beer taps the Wildcat certainly fits the bill as a tavern.
Next is the people. You have people of all ages and walks of life that come to enjoy their friends company and some good music. Last and certainly not least, the music. The quality of musicians that perform on Hoot Night is incredible. On any given night you could have pianists, guitarists, fiddlers, drummers and the list goes on.
So the next time you’re at home sitting in front of the tv and you realize it’s a Tuesday night, shut off the tube and head to The Wildcat Inn and Tavern in Jackson for a night you’ll enjoy and talk about for a long time.
